Harry Deutsch is a logician and philosopher of language with publications in the Journal of Symbolic Logic (reviews), Journal of Philosophical Logic, Studia Logica, Nous, Philosophical Perspectives, and others. He is currently (November, 2006) editing (with Anthony Everett) a volume of essays on empty names. He is hard at work on a book on fact and fiction. He earned his degree in 1982 at UCLA with a dissertation on paraconsistent analytic relevance logics.
