The Mind Project
According to the official website, The Mind Project is "a student-faculty, research and curriculum project in the cognitive and learning sciences". This project is a collaboration between students, teachers and expert researchers interested in learning together about the mind and brain, including both human and non-human minds, and both biological and mechanical brains.ome participants focus exclusively on the "science" of the mind while others explore the implications of cognitive science research for other areas of human life. These areas range from the humanities and social sciences to industry and public life as well as from philosophy and religion to technology and medicine.
The scientific study of the mind is an interdisciplinary field. The disciplines that are typically listed as the most significant contributors are psychology, artificial intelligence, linguistics, philosophy and neuroscience and include anthropology, economics, education, physics, industrial technology, and speech pathology. The Mind Project encourages students, teachers and researchers from such areas to make their own contribution to this exciting field.
